Happy moments can be found in small pleasures if we look, don't have to be monumental. I would like to see this post kept on top so we can remember each day to find something to rejoice in.
Happy moment today, a beautiful, sunny day. I have not been outside yet to see how hot so I am fine with just the glorious son.
Another happy moment. One cat curled up next to me on the arm of my chair, other draped across my lap purring while I relax with a glass of Peach Ice Tea and a good book.

Linda,
You are so very right about happy moments being found in small things........most of the time, that's where the majority of our happy moments are found.
I was so happy today to have such uplifting singing in church, then later in the day to feel the warm sunshine against my face. I cannot tell you how high my spirits are lifted by the sunshine! ;D
I agree..........let's keep this post going!
Love, Clara

ok...ok...ok....Linda!!!! Corrine, Glad that you can swim again!!!! It is so hot today!!!! My happy moment today. I am working for a friend right now, she has a two year old. I absolutely love going to see him. he is so darn cute. He can say my name now. Today I was smooching him up and he said "I Love You Pam!!" I just melted right then and there.!!! Something really funny, he has two brothers (Dogs, Boxers), and they each have there own feeding things that sits off the floor. Today I was painting, he came in and said in his baby talk. "I'm thirsty!!" then proceeded to lap the water out of the dogs water dish!!!! He thinks he is a dog sometimes!!! It was so lol, and cute!!! Mom says they ignore it cause he does it for attention!!! It worked I was in hysterics!!!!

I am so glad you are enjoying the "perks" of your job. I can just imagine that kids just naturally swarm to you. Yep, he hooked you with the I love you!!! ;D Has to make you feel ever so good.
My happy moment is getting home and coming inside out of the heat. Haven't looked but my car registered 98 when I left, am sure it broke 100 today. What blessed relief to be in and not have to go out. Now just have to figure out a easy dinner plan. I think pizza is on the menu. ;D Then some time curled up with my current book.

Yes it is HOT! The water in the pool is 84 degrees We baled hay again yesterday. Sent DH off with 5 gallons of water for him and 3 guys, by the time I got there, most of it was gone! Pam, I am so glad you are enjoying this job. This little boy sounds like a doll! How cute, I would have melted when he said "I love you" Linda, meal planning in this heat is awful. Too hot to cook, and too hot to eat.

Major happy moment today. I just spoke to my former bf. He had wonderful news that I have wanted to hear for years. He is going back into teaching and has a position at a suburban high school. ;D ;D This is what he needs to be doing and I am just thrilled for him. He also is moving as his landlord needs to move into his half of the double. LL needs to live there to keep his kids in that school district. My friend will still be in the area and we will be keeping in touch!!! ;D God is indeed good. ;D Our friendship will never be as it used to be but at least we are talking and in the future we may be able to go out for a cup of coffee together.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Linda, That is amazing news. I know how much this friend means to you and you are getting that back. My happy moment for today. I went outside after it poured all morning to fuss with my flowers. I was amazed to see how much they have all started to bloom. My stuff really looks nice this year (Bragging here). Sharing some pictures. I went out to Michael's garden to find that my Zinnias that I planted from seed are really blooming. I have tons more to bloom. I am really proud of them. I didn't think they were going to make it!! The next one is my Glads two are blooming. This is the first year I really gave them attention, I staked them up and they have done really well. I have them planted on the side of my house, more to bloom there also. The last one is the best!!! Michaels rose bush had a nice bud on it that I knew was ready to open, well it did today!!! And there are 7 more buds on it that are maturing. This is the most roses that have ever been on his bush. Sorry for the picture overload, just wanted you to enjoy some beauty. Love to all of you. Can you believe it, I am working ANOTHER wedding!!! I could do the YMCA in my sleep right now...

The flowers are absolutely gorgeous. Michael's rose is just perfect! Has to give you pleasure and bring a smile to your face.
My happy moment today was seeing a hummingbird in the trumpet vine out back. So little and so perfect. I never manage to see the hummingbirds and have been watching. We just ran to mail packages at the post office and hit Krispy Kreme. When we pulled in coming home a female hummingbird lit in the vine. She actuallt quit flitting and perched, sat for a good period of time. I sat in the car till she flew off. amazing little creatures.

Beautiful flowers! Hummingbirds are so cool. Almost as cool as butterflies. My moment - my DD getting "promoted" from seeing her therapist every week to every two weeks to, now, every three weeks. She has improved soooooooo much. No more depression, fewer anxiety moments, no more cutting. She is also backing down on her Xanax and tolerating the lower dose well. Some ways it seems like many, many years have passed since Ally died. In reality, it has only been 20 months! I feel like I have aged. Another happy moment - two butteflies hatched from the butterfly bush in my front yard. My DD and I are having so much fun watching the butterflies, checking on the caterpillars and looking for new eggs. Small moments that mean so much.

Cindee, That is wonderful news! A great reason to celebrate. The butterflies sound lovely. We have a holly bush at the side of the house. DH wants to cut it down and was talking about maybe forscythia. I would like to have a butterfly bush. They are so pretty. Is it easy to care for? My happy moment today is dh has booked my flight next month to meet up with the wwww girls. I am so excited that I am going to get to go and see the girls again! ;D
