This is such a GREAT idea!!!! Hopefully we could bring family members Pennsylvania is quite a vacation!!! I've never been there
I'm in California area but any location would be great!!!!
Speakers would be nice, but we could always have the resort put us on the roster as Silent Grief weekend retreat!! Then we could hang out with each other in one convention room! Like a breakfast get together!
It's hard to exclude family members especially ones with kids I guess you could have family event with kids and the ones who don't have kids can do something else so no one feels uncomfortable

Hello All.
I usually don't post here, but I just want to add something to what Clara said about the Seven Springs Resort...in addition to being an awesome place for families or singles, they also were the host facility for families of Flight 93 on 9/11.
I was part of another group that was there at the time, and Seven Springs was absolutely wonderful to all the families of the victims. They treated the families with honor, kindness and respect; as I'm sure they would treat us.

Okay, I read through many of the postings, and I now think Seven Springs would be PERFECT. There is a large ski lodge (main building) with workshop rooms, restaurants, bowling alley, indoor pool, arcade, etc. This is also the main hotel, but also on the property which is several hundred acres are hundreds of ski chalets, condos, etc. There is more than enough room where people with families could interact with one another, and people without children could also interact with one another and they wouldn't have to see each other unless they chose to. It doesn't make any difference to me, if children are invited or not; as my youngest child is 16 and wouldn't come unless I hogged tied him, through him in the trunk and dragged him along. Although he really likes Seven Springs, it's just being with his parents that doesn't always thrill him.

I say organise what 'you' want for the first time and then pick out the best bits from that get together and then the year after use them leaving out the worst bits so to speak.
