Mari, I love David. I just eat his books up. I just read a book called A Reliable Wife. I can't remember who wrote it, I'll post later when I find the book. It was really good!!
I miss being able to read all the time. I read a book on Edie Sedgwick, called Edie. I know it may not interest some people, but I became fascinated with her after seeing Factory Girl, and have read a lot about her, including the book Edie. It was really good, actually. Very factual, heartbreaking, but good nonetheless. I also read Dee Dee Ramone's autobiography. It was good. I read it because Robby had it and I was bored, and although it is very sad at parts, it is very good.
I'm trying to remember what else...
Someone mentioned their children reading and taking different things away at different ages. SO TRUE! I re-read books that I read as a child and come away with entirely new meanings. I mentioned Jane Eyre before, I read that book as a child. I was maybe 10 or 11. Then I re read it about a year ago, and was surprised and how much I didn't remember. I just love books.

I read just about anything. Right now I am reading anything by Christine Feehan. Her books are completly fictional and it lets me escape reality for a while!

Just finished re-reading Little Women. Now I'm starting Stephen King's most recent book, Under the Dome. Talk about a change of pace. After that, I might read A Tale of Two Cities. I love summer.

I have just started one called "Little Bee" by Chris Cleave. It is the story of two women. That is all the jacket of the book will tell you because they don't want to spoil the magic of the story. So far I am enjoying it. I have a stack of books waiting and then I find so many more that I need to reserve at the library. There is never enough time to read everything I would wish to read. Growing up my goal was to read every book in the library.

I'm almost finished with The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I'm actually enjoying it immensely. It isn't a feel good book but one that is very well written.

Did anyone read The Secret Lives of Bees? It was made into a movie, and was done very well. However, as I almost always say, the book was far better. It is fantastic.

I am reading "the Lost Symbol" By Dan Brown, He wrote "Angels and Demons," which is my all time favorite book (the movie is good too!), he also wrote "The DaVinci Code," which despite it's Religious controversy is a very good book!!

I read a lot of Mary Higgins Clark, have read 2 of her books in last two weeks. I also read a true story by Janice Latus called "If I am missing or dead" It is really good but it is a little graphic so be forwarned IF you choose to read it.

Linda, I love Jennifer Weiner! I just finished reading one of Neta Jackson's books about the Yada Yada Prayer Group called "Who Do I Talk To?" I really dig Christian fiction. It's inspiring. I am going to read Alexander McCall Smith's 44 Scotland Street. Can't wait!

I just finished Richard Paul Evan's "Promise Me" and absolutely loved it. I also read Nicholas Spark's new one "Safe Haven" and couldn't put it down either. Now I am reading a older james Patterson "You've Been Warned". It is pretty good. I have a bunch of goodies reserved at the library including a couple by authors I haven't tried before. I will no doubt finish the Patterson this evening. ;D
