I went over to Michael's grave today.... Last time I was there I noticed that Tulips that I had forgotten I planted last fall were starting to come out of the ground. I went back today to find them all bloomed....a dozen yellow Tulips. It was nice to see.

The sunshine from the yellow tulips must be traveling all the way to Heaven for Michael to enjoy! They sound glorious. There's just something about bright yellow flowers, like rays of sunshine. They certainly would be a day brightener.

Jason's favorites were yellow but all we could find were cut ones in yellow, so we had to get pink.

Happy moment for the day. I am home from work and don't have to go anywhere tonight. I feel some down time calling my name and think I shall start out with a bit of a nap. Then it will be onward to reading and crocheting. And it is a Friday night all by myself! DH will get in tomorrow morn so will have a wonderful weekend with him but tonight is for me! ;D LindaC would do a cartwheel if she could!
Here's to more happy moments for all of us.

LindaC. I'm gong to butt in for just a quick second. Seeing your "cartwheel" comment made me remember the beginning days of SG when I actually did do cartwheels everytime a new birth was announced. Believe it or not, I'm back to practicing! I'll let you know when I can master the "Old Lady Cartwheel"! ;D ;D Love, Clara

I remember those wonderful cartwheel days!!! Unfortunately, I could never do one. LindaC is very uncoordinated. The cane would be most interesting attempting to do one now. Clara, you can butt into our Happy Moments anytime you want to! ;D We can always use more happy moments from anyone. ((((((((HUGS)))))))))

AMEN to that!!!!! However doing cartwheels could be dangerous for our health. Look at me, Dru who broke her foot playing with a puppy and Corrine's shoulder. Say we could start our own circus ;D
I had a good therapy session yesterday. They even put me on a treadmill to make me walk and the treadmill had an airconditioner that blew out of it. I didn't know they made them like that!!!
But the best thing was the pt mentioned a new pet store in town that had a little monkey that could fit in your hand and was darling. As soon as I left the office, I headed for the pet store. As I walked in, I began making the high pitch whistle that Scamper would make in Salvador and sure enough, I HEARD A RESPONSE. This little marmoset was a little larger and came from a different region in Brazil but I watched her play and whistle for about 15 minutes. It was WONDERFUL To see a relative our little pet. ;D

Hope you enjoyed your night alone, Linda. Laughing at the thought of doing cartwheels. Corinne will not be doing them either. Clara, I would love to see you do them, how is that practice coming along?

A very pleasant day. I now have my lilac bush that I have waited so long for. A nice dinner. Made stuffed peppers and also made up some fruit salad. A trip to Ritters for a blueberry sundae. Yummmm! Two purring cats, one lap. I have had both of them whenever I sit in my chair. Warm, purring cats tend to make you nod off a bit. All in all, a lovely day.

Last night was honors night at David's HS. We sat through an hour of presentations and awards to some very talented intelligent children. After awhile, I must say, you mind begins to wander. Then the superindendant gets up to present he 2nd to the last award. DH & I (I feel a bit guilty) barely paying attention, suddenly hear "The recipient of the $1000.00 scholarship goes to DAVID PANCAROWICZ!!" ;D
I am so very proud of him. Funny thing is, David has been sick and he was actually nodding off in his seat. His friend had to poke him when his name was called! ;D

My happy moment today was when I saw a humming bird come up a feeder in our yard.
