I am curious to see what your doc's take is on things, Krystle. Now that you have hit 38 weeks, it is time to seriously discuss options.
Sabrina, wow, you keep your house warm! We keep ours set at 68-70 all winter, and are usually comfortable. We don't usually need a sweater or anything. What type of heat do you have?

I'm a bit freaked out about it. 38 weeks seems really late to be hoping he moves back...especially with ALL my episodes of false labor and being so dilated...
If i need a section...so be it. Not the way i want to do things...but as long as he makes it out healthy....right?

SOrry, missed your post Sabrina! We went to eastview in Victor, but Marketplace is actually a bit closer. Only about 15 minutes from my house

Just corn, salsa, beans, and chicken, right Krystle? And maybe tortilla shells and some cheese for serving? Kind of like a fajita. Peppers would probably be good in it as well, but I am allergic to them and would have to pick them out anyway! But it might be fine to try sometime. Hee hee...I didn't mention that to do this, I have to buy a crock pot! DH broke mine right before Christmas. I have been meaning to replace it ever since, though, and this is a good excuse.

Yup, thats all i put in! I'm sure you could add more if you were more creative and didn't have a super picky hubby! Might even be good with some sort of noodles on the side...egg noodles maybe.

Krystle,
My sister's first was a c section for this very reason. They even tried an inversion first. She was able to have 3 others vbac. Of course you don't want a c section if you don't need it, but IMHO, I think the "right" kind of delivery is whatever is the safest for mommy and baby.

See, that brings up another point. I'm not so sure how i feel about a version if it gets offered to me....

I'll give you my sisters take on it: she was glad she tried it because she felt she should. But it hurt like heck, and it didn't work. She said she would go c section before trying it with another baby.

I'm just worried about the risk of baby getting tangled in the cord...especially since the dr. in L&D said she saw his cord up around his head on tuesday.. Incase you needed more incentive to make the chicken Debs...i'm uploading a pic i took of it

I wish that chicken sounded good, but not much does still! Plus cooking in a crock pot all day would make the house smell intolerable. I do have dh on a mission to find me some caffeine-free Dr. Pepper for my nightly 5 oz of fluids. That sounds yummy! Krystle, you might want to check out this site and see if it has any info that might be helpful: www.spinningbabies.com

Krystle, what time is dinner? jk. I would go straight to a csection. Cate had the cord up by her neck draped from 28 weeks on US. Freaked me out. When she was born, it was wrapped around her neck twice. The nurse said nuchal cord times 1, and my ob said no nuchal cord times 2. When she was coming down, you could actually hear no heartbeat for a few seconds. Those were just the last few contractions moving her down. Scared me to death!
Debs we have the heat up because of Cate (ok me too. I have had the chills since Tuesday and it is driving me nuts). We have to do the sunlight thing with her, so we have jacked up the heat. Usually it is 70-72. We have a gas furnace.

Well you are probably all off for the night by now. But I'll post anyway.
I didn't get the chicken made, but I did get the ingredients purchased, as well as the crock pot! I'll put it in tomorrow morning, and take it with to the IL's tomorrow afternoon.
I have also had a baby with the cord twice around his neck. Luckily it didn't cause any problems, but it was still scary. Krystle, if they do try to turn the baby, they basically have everything and everyone on hand for an emergency c section when they do it. There are risks, and the remedy is immediate delivery. At least that is how it was with my sis.
Rachel, You know how I told you we haven't had too many problems with inversions here this year? I spoke too soon. The last three days you can't even see the mountains! There is a storm blowing in, though, so hopefully the air will clear tomorrow.
Has anyone heard from Sara or Liz today? I'm a little worried about them.
I am having a bunch of pressure today. No contractions, just pressure. I am wondering if it has to do with the UTI. I am going to chug water tonight to get everything cleared out.
