Well, i thought Liam was going to prove my dream right and make an appearance today! Woke up a little after midnight to a painful contraction, lots of back pain and cramps. Figured i'd see if they continued before i woke DH up and worried him. They were coming every few minutes for about an hour, but not getting any more painful. They eventually started getting further apart, and finally just quit after about 2.5 hours I was all excited though because it was the first time i was woken up by a contraction! I'm going to the mall with my sister today, so maybe the walking will help. Bought a fresh pineapple at the store yesterday, something in them is supposed to help start labor so i'll be trying that tonight! Oh, i'm making dinner in the crockpot today. So maybe Liam will decide today is a bad time to be born since i really want to try this new recipe...and he'll decide to come!

I really hope all the walking helps you!! Sorry that you keep getting these contractions that go away after a while! Just think, maybe b/c you have been dealing with them so long, you won't have to endure as much pain giving birth!! ( I still agree on getting an epidural though!! Best pain solution!!)
What are cooking in your crockpot???
Have a great day! I am off to bed for awhile! Just got home from my nightshift and starting to get sleepy!!!
Take care! Angela

I'm hoping! Also hoping that since i'm already 3cm...labor won't be AS long? wishful thinking i know!
Nothing fancy, Salsa chicken. Just a jar of salsa, can of corn and can of black beans...and chicken breast. Never made it before so we'll see how it comes out! Apparantly the chicken gets tender enough to shred to we can either eat it on tortilla chips or taco shells, which we have both!

Krystle, hoping all be the pain and contractions were partly from Liam getting back into the right position! Hope the pineapple and walking help move things along. Angela, have a good sleep! Glad you are feeling better. Today is day 7 of my headache that comes and goes. I woke up with it, so it's definitely there. When I looked in the mirror my face looked slightly different and I am wondering if parts of it are just the slightest bit puffy. I shouldn't be holding fluid as my weight has been going down 1/2 lb a day the past few days (I ate too much tomato sauce over the weekend and that always causes me to retain water). It should be steady now as I am back to where I was a week ago. My IV nurse will come today or tomorrow, so we'll see what my BP is then. Spend all but 4 waking hours in bed yesterday, and spent 1/2 of the rest of the time sitting. I was happy to see that ER finally has full episodes online, so I can finally get caught up! Hope you all have a great day and we have some baby arrivals over the next few days!!!

Krystle, you've definitely gotten 3 cm of work behind you! When I was induced, I was only a fingertip!

Morning guys!
Well Krystle, I woke up multiple times last night too with contractions. And they seem to have dissapeared as well. Why do they do this to us? I hope the walking works for you! The recipe sounds yummy!
Have a good sleep Angela!
So like I said quiet a few contractions last night. I'd wake up to one and once it was gone fall back to sleep. I had planned on if I had any I'd get up and walk, but I guess I was just too tired. I did notice more BH yesterday than I normally have, maybe things are starting to pick up, but I'm not getting my hopes up. We DTD last night, and I made sure I got my O's in haha. About 10 minutes later is when the contractions started. I was literally like WOOHOO, so weird to be excited about being in pain. I told Bo he's doing his job again tonight and possibly the next cause I have to continue to do something to get her out. We're both over the moon with this idea, ~eye roll here~.

Nikki, we were planning on DTD last night, but the stupid dizzyness started again so we didn't. I also had the same plan as you...to get up and move around if contractions started...but it was midnight and i was tired... I bet if i had gotten up and showered or something they might have kept up....

Hey Rachel! I'm such a slow poster sometimes, LOL you weren't here when I started that post. Sorry about the headache, I hope it goes away soon. Hope the nurse gives you good news that your BP is down.

Maybe thats why we get them at night, LOL they know they won't be encouraged to continue because we're so tired! It freaking sucks thats for sure. Three days until my due date! I had Bailey a week early, so that whole 2nd borns come earlier is BS in MHO.

Plus walking could help him go back to the right position. But I know what you mean, if you don't feel good it doesn't sound like fun. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
My midwife called to check up on me last night. She was making sure I was adding up my protein and doing all she told me. I am, so she couldn't get on to me, LOL. But her calling got my anxiety up again, and instead of talking to her about everything I again clammed up. I hate that I do that! Once I got off the phone I just stared at the phone thinking OMG somethings wrong she called me because someing IS wrong. Bo came in the room a little while later and I told him about it, he of course was able to calm me down and make me see she's just checking up on me since I'm due in three days and wanted to make sure I was keeping better track of things like she asked. My brain just didn't see it that way. I'm way more relaxed today thankfully, and really not looking forward to all the crap I have to eat, LOL. You don't realize how little you actually eat until you have to up it, or tripple it in my case.

Oh my gosh I feel so bad for you guys!!!! I wish I could get the show on the road for each of you! One thing I noticed this week was I could actually walk into a store and NOT be in contractions for hours. After having them since 16 weeks, it was a nice feeling. Wierd too because I had them for so long. I am trying to get the energy to clean house. I am sick of the one picking up after everyone else. I mean none of the crap everywhere is mine!
I can't decide if I am getting an infection or whacked hormones. I have been having a lot of stomach and back pain since yesterday. No fever though. Though I didn't run a fever after Sara and had a wicked infection. Chills. Nausea. I'm going to wait to tomorrow and see what happens.

Well we'll definitly be taking frequent sit breaks at the mall, lol. I just spent like 10 minutes standing washing the crockpot and getting everything in it...and i'm dying already!! d**n back is killing me! I'm gonna take some tylenol and see if it makes a dent in the back pain...probably won't though!

I hope its not an infection Sabrina! Good luck getting the fam to pick up after themselves. Have you tried the House Fairy yet??
((HUGS)) Krystle, sorry about the back ache. I hope the tylenol helps, but if it doesn't it could be just his position again.

Our weather is once again going nutso. Tuesday it was in the 20's(F), yesterday it was in the 50's, and today its expected to be almost 70! It's going to drop back down a little every day back to the 30's until Tuesday when we're expected to get snow, then it goes right back up to 60!
