Wow, did TONS of walking today at the mall! Got a bunch of baby clothes on clearance (50% off the already clearance prices!) Only spent a total of $25 (between the Childrens place, target and old Navy) and got 12 different items! woohoo!
So i'm pretty sure he's still transverse and it scares me. What if he doesn't move...are they gonna schedule me for a c-section? i mean...i'd rather be scheduled for one instead an emergency on if i go into labor...If they schedule one, they'll check before they do it to make sure he's still transverse, right?
SO my chicken in the crockpot smells AMAZING. The chicken went in raw, and its now completely cooked, and so tender its shredded. We're gonna eat in in soft tortilla shells...YUM! SO easy, and cheap too. Chicken was $5, salsa was $2 and beans/corn were 3 for $2! yummo!

I've been lying down hoping it would help the headache and dizziness, it hasn't but its not worse so thats a good thing I guess. Except now I'm even more tired than before. So I'm going to go for the day and take another nap. My poor little boy is being so good and entertaining himself so well, I feel bad for being so tired and lazy these days because it can't be fun for him.

Krystle, Maybe i will copy your dinner. How long did it take to cook. I still have m/s, so I need all of the low effort recipes I can get! Hi Angela! I'm glad your nap was good! I have no waistline now. I look down and think, "oh, I look pregnant!" I am actually really good at taxes. I had my own consulting business for several years, so I have researched all the laws on business taxes, partnerships, LLC's etc. I can do capital gains, employee stock options, and all of that. When my brother got married a few years ago, his wife was wary and wanted him to take them to a "professional" instead. I had to laugh when a few weeks later they brought them back to me because his accountant couldn't figure out his capital gains! I know, lame accountant, but it made me feel good. My DB and BIL have been audited on taxes I have done, and have both been told they owed a bunch more money. Both times the IRS was wrong and I was right So I like doing taxes. I get a bit of an emotional boost from it.

Well i put it in the crockpot at like 10 this morning...when i checked it at 4 it was done...(turned it on low because we're not quite ready to eat yet). I wasn't home all day though, so it might have been done earlier, and i just didn't know. But when i stabbed a fork into the chicken to pull it out of the crockpot to check to see if it was done, it fell apart! Its so tender and yummy looking!
ETA: I had it on high all day.

I'm decent at taxes too. I've always done our own, and a few years ago i worked a tax season at a tax company doing taxes for other people.

I always do our taxes, too. There is something really satisfying about it. This year will be more interesting since we moved in June, so have to do 2 different state taxes. Not sure if there is anything from the house sale, too.
Krystle, I think they do plan a c section for transverse, but I would hope they would check to be sure that baby is still transverse beofre they actually start! Is your appointment tomorrow?

That just sounds so easy. Plus I lived in Guatemala, where black beans were a staple food, so I love them. MMM in soft taco shells with maybe a little cheese....
I think I'll try it. if it isn't done in time for dinner the kids can have a sandwich. We have a family event tomorrow. and it would be fun to take it. My IL's have started living on an almost vegan diet, organic, etc. The problem is, for them to try to feed a crowd on their current lifestyle, it just about breaks the bank! I try to take a good meal with (FIL won't eat meat anymore, but all of the cousins will happily!). That way my MIL isn't trying to feed everyone an organic diet on a fixed income.
I think their diet is fine for them. But completely organic just isn't affordable with as many kids as we have. There is also another little issue I have with organic that makes me a bit wary. A few years ago, my nephew nearly died from ecoli during the spinach outbreak. It was organic spinach that they had eaten, and the nearest they could figure the "organic" fertilizer, which was manure based, had not been processed correctly to kill the ecoli in it before its use. So, while I understand why pesticides should be avoided, I am a bit wary of organic fertilizers as well. The disease completely shut down his kidneys, and for about three days, the doctors were telling his parents that he only had a 50% chance of survival. So I do have an emotional hang up with organic sometimes.
Ok...sorry for the OT spiel!

Yea, its at 10:50 tomorrow morning. I'm nervous. I was going to go alone since its during DH's work day, but he took the day of (without me asking) because he "doesn't want me going anywhere alone anymore" aww....he's so sweet! SO we'll see what they say. I'm guessing they'll check my cervix and see if they can feel his head...if they can't i'll probably get an u/s to check. If he IS still transverse...i'm not sure what they'll do. Either wait another week and check again...idk.. Scary. I really don't want a c-section.
Maybe this is Liam's way of telling us that my pelvis is too small. I've always been worried about it because i'm SO tiny, and how i broke it in 4 places a few years ago. OB's always told me there was no way to tell if it would be a problem until i was in labor....maybe Liam knows?

I always do our own taxes.
My bps went up today to 159-160/115-116!!! OMG they were not even that high when I was freaking pregnant! So I called my ob and they have doubled my bp medicine. BLECH. I have a headache but just hit the fiorinal for that. I hate preeclampsia. It's all part of the transitioning back my ob says. Glad I will never go through this again. Still running a 99 temp. Can't decide if it is because our house is at 76 now because of Cate or what.
Krystle, what mall did you go to? I want to go and do some pics of Cate next week for A) something to do B) to get out of the house C) to get pics while she is tiny. I usually go to marketplace. Do you live by there?

Let me know how you like it Debs! We used Medium Salsa because we like it kinda spicy, but Mild would work fine too. I hope it tastes as good as it smells...because it smells awesome in here!
I'm liking the crockpot meals. We are REALLY bad about getting our veggies in. But in the crockpot, all the tastes kinda melt together, and even picky DH who "doesn't like beans" will eat them, because they taste like all the other flavors!

Rachel, I get a lot of satisfaction from it too. Plus we get a large return which is nice. I know it might be smarter to get it back during the year, but we enjoy the windfall once a year for big purchases.
Krystle, depending on exactly what position he is in, many doctors will schedule a c section for transverse position. If you don't look close, though, they may give him more time to turn on his own. Usually they double check position the day before a scheduled c section to determine necessity. Hopefully he will move tonight while you are sleeping!
