I'm sorry if this is an insensitive question. The reason I'm looking into this is because I want to write about how we are the few lucky ones who made it out of the womb alive, and that life is a gift we shouldn't take for granted, no matter how difficult it is. I know approximately 30% of confirmed pregnancies in the US end in miscarriage, and 22% end in abortion. I'm wondering how many more end in stillbirth. I need to find out what percent of confirmed pregnancies end in still birth in the US, I'd also like to find out what the infant mortality rate is. I'm sure I could figure out the percentages based on the numbers I have if I weren't so devastatingly bad at math. Thank you, and I'm sorry for your losses

I know 9 years ago, statistics were 1-2% end in stillbirth. And the miscarriage statistics are probably more like 50% now that women find out so early when they are pregnant. I was told that only 25% of pregnancies actually make it to term and go home. I was shocked at that statistic, but it did make me realize that childbirth truly is a miracle. I hope this helps.
