Its been almost two years now and usually I can talk bout the miscarriage without a problem, but with mothers day coming up im not doing so hot. He was conceived on Mother's Day and lost only a few weeks later so its a tough time for me with everything piled into one month. Lately every time I think about the baby or Mother's Day I get bad pains in my stomach and feel a little sick for about 1/2 an hour. Does anyone else go through this? Obviously it's emotional. What can I do?

My first Mothers' Day after miscarrying was devastating. Everyone around me was getting cards and gifts and I had been so looking forward to celebrating, along with everyone else. I would caution you to surround yourself with people who can offer you support, empathy and understanding. You can light a candle in memory of your angel or release a balloon which can be very healing.

The hardest part about Mother's Day for me is that there is no acknowledgment from anyone that I carried two babies too. I feel like I'm a mother even though I never held my babies.
