Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
I think my little ones are trying to make mommy go nutso! lol I had let the dog out early, and decided to snooze on the recliner downstairs until the kiddos and hubby got up.
Well........little miss Catherine (aka Caitie) who is 3 years old had decided to find an old baby powder and THOROUGHLY dust her room with it. I didn't notice her powder streaked hair (still groggy, I guess) as she came downstairs and went past me to the play room. I had put on some coffee when I heard Tom yell from upstairs. IT WAS EVERYWHERE AND ON EVERYTHING!!!!!! We had to strip her room down and vacuum and dust from the ceiling down. Even clothes and shoes in her closet, her books on her bookshelf, one of her drawers was slightly opened. Oh my goodness!!!
So after two hours of cleaning and then giving her a shower....I kid you not!.....having sent the kids down to the playroom to play while we cleaned......we finally go downstairs for breakfast (at now almost 10 AM). After breakfast, Ben decides to bring a broken game console out of the playroom (a Leapster one that hooks into the tv). He and Caitie had broken the nubs off of the part that plugs in. WHAT?? So as Tom attempts to sodder (sp?) and repair the wires, I check out the playroom.....while making breakfast (or perhaps while we were cleaning upstairs, not sure), Caitie had SHREDDED one of Sarah's American Girl catalogs (something like what you would think a puppy would do). Ay yai yai!
I love my kids, I love my kids....they are a blessing....they are a blessing....
*deep breath* If it weren't still today, I'd probably be looking back at all of this and laughing....maybe!
