It "could" be AF, but I bled off and on (mostly on) for 6-8 weeks postpartum. My guess would be postpartum. If it is AF, the only reason for your milk to dry up would be for you not to be nursing or pumping frequently enough. I was told by my LC that your milk doesn't taste as sweet to the baby when you are on a period, therefore you may need to pump more or encourage the baby a little more during that time. HTH
