Congratulations on a heartbeat!
I had a subchorionic hemorrage that was seen on my first u/s, but it resolved on its own. They didn't even mention it on my 12 week u/s.
My doctor explained it's kind of a form of implantation bleeding that hangs around a bit longer. Depending on its size, you may have some bleeding and/or spotting from it. Hope yours heals quickly and easily!

I had a SCH in the beginning too. I had spotting off and on for about the first 10 weeks, then it was gone. Hang in there. I also forget if you said on FB, but if you are taking the progesterone vaginally it can be irritating and cause spotting. Lots of happy thoughts coming your way.

I had this early on in this pregnancy and was on bedrest for a month, with two major ER visits when I had some large gushes of blood. The size and position are what makes the difference here. The danger is that it may cause placental abruption if it is growing. Mine was giant but, amazingly, it resolved completely by 20 weeks. From what I've read, that is not uncommon.
While you have it, you are going to continue spotting. While it is brownish, it's just the SCH draining, not to worry. If the blood turns pinkish or bright red, then it is fresh blood so call your doctor right away! Cramps are normal because the blood irritates your uterus. It's a hard waiting game. Don't be afraid to pester your doctor with questions -- and ask for them to monitor your HcG levels weekly for your peace of mind.
Praying for you! I know how scary it is!

I had bleeding at 7 weeks and I know it is incredibly scary. Try to relax and rest as much as possible. The good news is that like many of these girls, my story had a happy ending. The bleeding stopped after a week and I had a beautiful baby girl a few months later. The best advice I can give you is to be really assertive with your doctors and do as many ultrasounds and Dopplers and hcg tests as you need to not stress. I will be praying for you!!
