I have not yet put a marker on my son's grave, my son loved dragons and nijas and dogs any dog. we recently were out to visit kin and one day we went to were his kin is put to rest the markers were great lovely they had stuff on what the person liked, my husband said it would be cool to have two nija swords crossed and a dragon on his mearker I agreed so I am curious as to what some of the people here has put on the marker. and once you have did this does it help with your grief? I know stupid question here I am full of them, I am hoping maybe if I put this kind of stuff on his marker that some of the gief will not be so bad.
I am now getting to were I don't have the thinking he isn't gone when I look at his picture for a split spit second I now have no thoughts and now just wish it didn't happen, am I making sense here?

Isaiah's has a picture of Jesus holding children and says "Our cherished baby" his names and the dates. There's a border of leaves around it. It helped me to have the marker as before it was on you could see the outline where they dug the grave.
