Not sure exactly where to post this so.............. I was Diagnosed with fibroids. it measures 4x5 cm and is low enough, if it grows it may block the birth canal. A small part of the placenta has also developed over it. Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with them.

I had a fibroid slightly bigger than an orange. They cannot tell by the position of the fibroid alone how it will respond in pregnancy. Where the baby positions itself in the uterus usually dictates where the fibroid will end up as the uterus grows during the pregnancy. If the fibroid does remain over the birth canal, a C-section will be your only option.
There is also a small possibility the fibroid will continue to grow along with the baby which could cause potential problems.
ETA: For clarity, the uterus expands and can push the fibroid to different positions as it expands.
