This past year I have had 3 repeated m/c in a row. My last one was the end of January. My ob has run a bunch of tests and even consulted with a fetal diagnostic center. I have a slight under active thyroid but it is being controlled with meds since my first m/c. I had no antibodies, hcg and progesterone levels were good. Husband and I had chromosome tests and that was fine too. They tested the tissue of the third baby and nothing was found. I just don't know what to do. I have a healthy soon to be four year old so it worked one time. I don't understand how everything could go so wrong now.
Family and friends think I should see a specialist but Im not sure who. A) my obgyn didn't say I should - so am I putting to much trust in him? B) all 3 of my losses were missed m/c so it's not like I couldn't get pg or that my body was aborting the babies. My body wouldnt let go.
I've never felt so alone. There isn't anything anybody can say or do.. Hubby pretty much pretends it didn't happen... I would have delivered this week so the wounds have been ripped open all veer again. I try and stay strong, but it's slowly eating away at me. I turn 34 next month and I so desperately want one more child.
Anybody have any ideas or advice!

Maybe ask your ob about seeing a reproductive endocrinologist? May help.

I'm so sorry about your losses. I could not begin to think of how it would be to suffer that many losses in such little time. I have had four losses in five years time. I do not know alot about thyroid but i did have a acquittance that suffered a loss because of it. They found a lump. She recently had her rainbow baby. I would def. go see a reproductive endocrinologist or high risk Dr. May God comfort you in this time. ((hugs))

Have you been charting your cycles? Might help to take kelp (provides iodine, which can cause m/c if it is low from a low thyroid) also vitamin B6. I had two m/c in three months and taking those along with a "just in case" dose every day of baby aspirin and extra folic acid worked for us.... ((HUGS!!))

My doc had me on baby aspirin this last time, and now after the third he has put me on 4mg of folic acid. Mi did put a call in to a specialist at the university of Chicago who deals with repeated m/c so hopefully I'll be able to getting to see her soon.

First of all, I am so sorry for your losses. ((((HUGS))))) Did they test you for clotting disorders? Folic Acid and Baby aspirin are treatments for one of the common ones (MTHFR), but there are others. I went to a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist after my second m/c and that's wehre I was diagnosed with MTHFR and Factor V Leiden clotting disorders. I had 2 healthy pregnancies prior to my losses. Seems for the most part I was lucky those two weren't affected as this is something I've had my entire life. I did end up seeing an RE too, because my progesterone was all out of whack and MFM wouldnt consider it as an option. RE said he would have tested for them as well, so it might be a good place to start. I was like you. I had no problem getting pregnant, so I felt kind of funny going to a reproductive specialist, but he said it was actually quite common for him to see people like me.
