Hello Ladies,
I have just been diagnosed with Adenomyosis. I was previously told that I had fibroids (about 10 years ago) and it would be hard to conceive. I didn't have my fibroids rechecked at all, though after my son Owen was born my periods were a bit heavier. He's now 8.
After my son Simon was born, my periods have been getting progressively worse after each cycle. This has been going on for the last two years. I went in to have my "annual" and mentioned that I thought my fibroids were getting worse and that my periods were extremely heavy and painful. So, Dr. did and ultrasound and said I had diffuse Adenomyosis, handed me a printout, said "I know you're going to go home and start googling, so here's a start" and sent me home.
It wasn't until I got home and started searching that I found out that this is secondary infertility. My husband to be and I would like to have a baby together (he's never fathered a child). Has this been a problem for anyone ttc? I feel like we're in a race against time now, I'm 28 and thought we'd have plenty of time. What is pregnancy like with this condition?
