I designed a brochure for the support group DH wants us to start. It's just the rough draft. He is more excited about this whole thing than I am, mainly because I'm the one stuck with doing all the work for it. All he did was talk to our pastor about using the church. He wants to start the second week in May. We'll see. He's going to price the cost of getting the brochure professionally printed. We don't want to use all of our ink and paper to print it off on our computer.

Michele, we're at a bit of a stand-still with it. I ended up in the hospital for 48 hours. Long story short: they never figured out the cause of the worse headache in my entire life, but they did find a small (1 cm) brain aneurism sitting the on the nerve path between the 2 hemispheres. For a week after I was released, I was not allowed to do much of anything. Tomorrow I go back for a repeat test to make sure it hasn't changed. If it hasn't, I'll need MRI's on and off (not sure of the details). If it has grown to at least 3 cm, they can put a coil around it to cut off blood flow. After tomorrow's test, another week of not being able to do much. Yet husband still thinks we'll get this group up and running by the second week of May. He's so optimistic!

Michele, the test went well. No changes, thank goodness. MRI in one year. If all goes well with that one, MRI in 2 years, then every 3 years. I am in a lot of pain. I had forgotten how horribly painful this test is and how painful it is for 10 days after. It doesn't help they had a hard time getting an IV in me.

(((((((hugs)))))))) Brenda. I wish there were something you could take to help with the pain. I guess those are the best test results under the circumstances? Right? So if that is the case then I'm really really glad it's not necessary for more immediate testing. Isaiah's keeping a close eye on his mommy!! Feel better!!
xox
P.S. LOVE your siggie pix!! SO cute.

Yep, those were the best test results possible (well other than it's disappeared). I'm feeling a bit better today. I talked to a nurse who said warm wet compresses for the IV site. Doing dishes killed 2 birds with 1 stone tonight. Thanks for loving my siggy pic. I wish I had one of Isaiah eating too, but since he wasn't bottle fed, no pictures of that. Maybe I should take a recent pic of Tabatha and John sleeping for it.

Brenda,
Coming into this late. I am so sorry you have had yet another thing you have been going through. When is enough enough? I am glad for the good news. Funny what you said about doing dishes! Take care and I hope you are feeling better.
