I hate going in our attic. I hate it. Isaiah's things are there. But, today I braved it (only because I needed to get down John's snowsuit which I forgot was still up there). In the process I found some things people bought for Isaiah: stuffed animals, clothes with the tags still attached, his crib mobile, a rattle, a tub toy, the PJ's he was wearing in the pic. my husband likes best. I managed not to cry or throw up. I decided to bring down his rattle for John and the tub toy for Tabatha. That way it's like a gift from him to his little sister and brother and since Tabatha has been missing him, it's a way for her to feel close to him. Tabatha asked me why I had them in the attic "all this time." I said, "It was too hard to look at them. It made me miss him more." She said, "Well seeing his things make me feel closer to him." Wise beyond her years.

She is definitely an amazing child. As sad as I am for her missing Isaiah, it also makes me sad for Isaiah that he is missing spending this time with such a wonderful sister.
