Hi Clara!
I used to come here all the time back in 2003 and the years following, after I had a miscarriage and then became pregnant again.
Ever since then I have been working on a book (a novel) called "Born An Angel", which is now finally available as an eBook on Amazon and at Barnes & Nobel. The foreword tells why I wrote it:
"EVEN THOUGH MORE than half a million women suffer a miscarriage in the United States each year, many of them feel alone and misunderstood. Friends and family often distance themselves or simply ignore the fact that a baby has ever existed; and if they do try to talk to the bereaved parents, they often choose the wrong words. Eight years ago, I was excited to be pregnant with my third child—only to find out during my second month that I was miscarrying. After losing my unborn baby, I longed to read a novel that validated my feelings of emptiness, anger, loneliness, and despair and that would help me through my grieving process by giving me hope. Since I was unable to find a book that fulfilled my expectations, I decided to write Born An Angel."
So here is my question: Would it be okay to tell others on the board about my book? I don't want to "advertise" to make profit, but I do feel that this book reaches out to others and might help them.
If you'd like to check it out a bit, my name is Bettina Walsh, and the title of the book is "Born An Angel."
Thank you for considering it!
