We're again going to be "actively" TTC!! Tonight I will start on progesterone. Hubby thinks I should talk to dr about getting on Clomid, or the like. Don't know about that yet, but we're not getting any younger, & I'd love for our 3 y/o (4, next month!) to have a brother or sister to play with. I'm nervous as can be; what if we're not successful, what if we are? BUT, I'm trying to corral all the anxious, racing, wild thoughts, & just focus on hopefully getting our rainbow baby! I've been on folic acid for several months, so off to a good start (hopefully! ). I know this is rambling, but I guess you ladies are used to that! Feeling a bit like I'm about to jump off the high board......here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best wishes! So when did you ovulate since you said you started the progesterone?

Thanks, ladies!! If my cycle this month is like last month, then I should ovulate today or tomorrow. My dr said to start taking the progeseterone around the time I was due to ovulate & stop it if I got AF. I'm hoping to have good news to report in the next few months, but only God knows.....

If you take progesterone before you ovulate, it can cause you to not ovulate. I've always been told to take it after confirmed ovulation (for me that means 3dpo by temping). I'd check with your doctor, but I wouldn't take it until after you ovulate.

I agree, do not start progesterone until after you ovulate.
