Hi everyone:) my name is Kaitlyn, and I hope this is the thing I've been praying for. I am 21 years old, I live in northern Indiana, and I've been married for three years. My husband and I have experienced 4 losses since July 2009. After my first two losses is was discovered that I have low progesterone. My third pregnancy I took progesterone pills, and my baby still went to be with God. My 4th pregnancy, I took clomid and no progesterone and had my most difficult miscarriage. I went into labor and had to be rushed to the hospital. That was Valentine's Day of 2011. We have held off trying for what I feel is a long time, because my insurance refused to pay for any preexisting conditions until December 5th. I have an appointment on the 19th to be tested for a clotting disorder and to get my scripts written. I am terrified. I am miss my beautiful babies everyday, and it kills me to think this could happen again... It's so difficult to discuss this with my husband because he hates seeing me cry, and that translates to him becoming angry when I bring up my angels. We have a baby room, baby clothes, blankets, everything but my baby. If anyone has any experience with low progesterone and what has worked for you PLEASE email me. kmichellep@ymail.com

{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to you! I haven't been officially diagnosed, since I've "only" had 2 m/cs's a few months apart, but my dr prescribed me progesterone to take if we decide to ttc again. I hate that possibly getting an answer was delayed because of insurance!! I hope that your appointment goes as smoothly as possible, and that you get answers, a treatment plan, or both. Many prayers for you...

I had low progesterone with my pregnancies (as well as PCOS and a blood clotting condition). I had to take Progesterone in Oil shots with last two babies (until 12 weeks gestation) because other supplementation wasn't enough. But they are both here and healthy. ((((hugs)))) I am sorry for your losses and pray that you have a wonderful appointment and are expecting a full term, healthy baby soon.
