For the past 12 hrs I have been having this weird twinge in my lower abdomen...it's way off to the side and feels sort of like a pinched nerve spasm but more.. I don't know how to describe it.... has anyone had this??? I don't know what it is?? And then I woke up this morning and I have a headache and just feel tired and achey..... I don't know what's wrong? We are ttc.. but I have not had AF since before I was pg with dd because we are still nursing (she is 21 months and we were hoping to catch the first ovulation)... anyhow, any advice?

I don't have any advice... but it couldn't hurt to take a test.

I get pains like that occasionally from my ovary (I only have one, lost the other when I was 19) and most of the time it's due to cysts. Small cysts form all the time but once in a while one will irritate. If it gets bad or lasts long, you should get an ultrasound to make sure everythings ok, but if they are minor twinges and don't last long, I wouldn't worry about it. You should mention it to your ob/gyn though, so they are aware.

In Aug, I had a terrible pain just inside my left hip that brought me to the ER twice with no findings. It was REALLY painful and I was sure it was a cyst, but my ovaries, along with everything else looked perfect. So only a few weeks ago, I saw my PT for my back/nect and she found that I have a torn muscle just inside my hip!!!
Anyway, just telling you b/c I never got any answers before and it really worried me that there was something undetactable by a US or CT wrong with me! So if you never can find out, maybe check to see if you have a torn illiopsoas muscle.
But, I really just hope you are PREGNANT!!!

oooh, I also wanted to mention that I hadn't been bothered by cysts for almost a year before I got pg and then I got a bunch, luckily they went away (I'm assuming, no more pain and nobody mentioned them at my last u/s) and I was told that alot of women get them when they are pg in the first few months because of hormones. Hope that's what it is for you!!!
