I am feeling that we could use some prayer right now. We had terrible ice storms here last week. DH was to go in on Wednesday for his cardioversion but because of the ice we were iced in as was most of the city. He continues to have his warfarin levels monitored and Monday's was not good so now he has to have 4 stabile readings before the cardioversion can be scheduled again. He is so darned weak and so tired. Of course he is also frustrated with the wait, just wants to get this taken care of, feels like it is taking forever. DD has been having issues with the endocrinologist. The doctor she likes but the office staff is sadly lacking. She has been waiting to gt going with her treatment and has been off the thyroid meds which has left her weak and very tired. She has been on a diet where there is very little she can eat. She finally was able to get the blood work yesterday and tomorrow long last she will have the radioactive iodine and then hopefully next week she can take the meds again, eat real food and get back to feeling better. She will have to be monitored closely to be sure the iodine gets all of any thyroid cells left and that there is no other cancer.
I am feeling very drained and frustrated. Everything is moving way too slow. I go to work and that is about all I am good for.
Your thoughts and prayers would be very appreciated.
