My dad had a heart cath on Monday. It showed several blockages. One is where they can't do anything for it. And if they treat the others, that one will block off more quickly. No matter what they do, he is heading for a heart attack.
He also has a "floppy" mitral valve, causing fatigue and exhaustion. They put him on meds that are too expensive for them to afford. The doctor seems wishy-washy about operating on it.
My dad is 81. Other than his heart (he's blind, but that doesn't affect his health) he is in very good shape.
We would so appreciate all prayers for him, his heart, my mom who's under a lot of stress over this, and wisdom for his doctors.
Thanks so much.
******update******
Dad goes into the hospital at 9 a.m. tomorrow (2/23) for bypass and mitral valve repair/replacement surgery. This is open-heart, and he's looking forward to showing off his new scar. Please keep him in continued prayer.

((((((((((HUGS))))))))) I know what your going through, my dad is 77 after a heart attack last July he has 3 blockages, they also told parents there was really nothing that they could do for him and is now developing Dementia . The doctors give him a year and they say he will have a massive heart attack. They tried to do stents but due to him having Diabetes for many years the veins in his legs have collasped. I am so sorry for us to be going through this I will pray for your dad and the rest of your family...
