If you had done clomid and IUI's 6 times and one worked but ended in loss and now RE was wanting you to move to fertility injections with IUI or IVF which would you choose and why?

Found this online bc I didn't really know the difference.
IUI is when the male gives a sperm sample, then the sample is 'washed', the good sperm are taken out and inserted into the woman's cervix through a catheter. IUIs are useful when there is male factor infertility because the weaker sperm don't have as far to travel.
IVF is when the egg is taken out of the female's body and the sperm is taken from the male and they are joined together outside the body (test tube baby) then inserted into the female.
IUI is much less invasive. The woman just has to have a catheter inserted, it is quick, easy and painless (for the most part). It's also a LOT less expensive. IUIs run around $500 per cycle and IVF runs around $15,000.
We were dx'ed with secondary infertility after my son was born (he was my 2nd pregancy) when we had been trying for 3+ yrs with no pregancy happening on it's own. We were given the option but because I knew we didnt' have the money to do either, I never researched them. However almost a full 2 yrs later, I unexpectedly got pregnant with my daughter who just turned 6.
