Finally got back on here. It has been so long.
Glad to see updates and all of the wonderful and challenging things going on. We have them too.
Jesse is trying to speak in the worst way...he is saying the vowels to words and at least now he makes a sound for everything. Pretty cool but the progress is very SLOW. He is frustrated and so are we. He will be 7 in November.
He is a smart little bugger and now has started to spell words...cow, dog, hat, frog, umbrella, duck. Every day there are more. He can't write so he spells them out on a label maker or on some scrabble like letters that I got him or on just a plain piece of paper with the alphabet laminated on it. He has mastered the touch screen and I love watching him play on it.
He wants to write in the worst way but can't yet control his movements.
I have to admit I am exhausted....
My daughter Anneliese is 16 going into 11th grade and I am so shocked that we will be looking at colleges this year...how did the time go so fast.
Zachary is 12 and he is still very artistic...drawing things and just making the world more colorful. He does have issues with OCD and handwashing....part from stress and part from his fear of Jesse's horrible allergies....
I really want to try and connect here more often....work has been so busy and when I get home I really have NO time to hop on here..but I want to really make time.
Clara, thanks for keeping this board open!!!
