Put down the name of the movie you saw, how many stars (1-5, 5 being the best movie ever seen), a little about the movie, and your review. Your review can be why we should watch it or why not watch it , is it kid-friendly , too gruesome or scary , a cry fest , etc. Have fun reviewing movies! Can't wait to read your review!

I watched 'Because of Winn-Dixie' made in 2005 by Twentieth Century Fox Films. It has Jeff Daniels, Cicely Tyson, Dave Matthews (who yes sings and plays his guitar), and the cutiest little actress Annasophia Robb. I give it 4 stars! It is definetely family-friendly, a little girl in a new town befriends a lost dog in a Winn-Dixie supermarket. She is really lonely, her mom left when she was a baby and her dad is a preacher who stays really busy. They move a lot and she doesn't have any friends until she meets and names Winn-Dixie. It is a cry-fest towards the end but it shows the love a lost, lonely dog gives to a lost, lonely family of two, and a whole small town.

My dh brought home 'the Goonies' from the 80s. Wow, I haven't seen it in so long. It's an 80s classic alright. fav line "hey you guuuuyyyssss!!!". If you watch w/ kids, it has curse words and name calling (I don't remember that from when I was a kid watching it). Oh, they may find Sloth a bit scary (the brother they keep in hiding). I give it 3 stars

DH and I saw Inception this week at the IMax, and I loved it. DH didn't like it as much as I did, but he's not the sci-fi fan that I am. The action sequences were really well done, and the premise of the movie - entering someone else's dreams to get at his subconscious - was really cool.

Me and DH finally went on a movie date and saw 'Inception'. WOW, I want to watch it again as the story goes deeper and deeper, you really have to pay attention. I felt like I got most of it but may have missed something. Its really engaging and full of awesome action scenes making me forget a had a tub of buttery popcorn in my lap. Leonardo DiCaprio is awesome as usual, Joseph Gordon-Levitt from '3rd Rock from the Sun', and Ellen Page from 'Juno' (one of my fav movies). I highly recommend if you like sci-fi, mind puzzling, action movies. I give it 4 1/2 stars.

My mom and younger sister took me to see "Paranormal Activity II" a few days ago, just to get me out of the house for a while. Anybody who is a fan of supernatural "stuff" I think would like it. Warning, tho: the first 20 minutes or so is all about the family bringing home the new baby boy, Hunter. Just what I wanted to see after losing my baby boy! But after that initial shock it was pretty good. This family starts experiencing increasing levels of poltergeist activity; the daughter and mother have experiences, but the father doesn't believe any of it and keeps trying to find rational explanations of everything. Then the daughter shows him what was caught on the family's security cameras--and basically, all Hades breaks loose. I would give it 4 stars--lots of suspenseful moments and I found it very believeable.

Has anyone seen the latest Narnia movie? I'm thinking of taking my 10 year old on Monday. Thoughts?

We went for my birthday last month. My whole family loved it from the 5 year old up to the 15 year old.
I think that your 10 year old will love it. It's a mixture of fantasy and adventure.
