Been over a year since I have logged onto here. I feel stuck, like if I don't do something now I may miss my window . I feel like I have to commit to seeing an infertility specialist, kind of like it is all or nothing you know? I don't know if I am there yet, I can't explain why. What worries me more is that I may miss my window, I may run out of time... Oh God, please help!!!

(((((Lisa)))))) I know that my RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) made all of the difference in the world. I was 34 when I conceived Sarah and 38 when I conceived our last baby girl, Catherine.
Are you afraid of seeing a specialist? You mentioned you being afraid that your "window" might be closing....is it an age reason or?
We suffered 13 years of infertility before we were finally able to conceive. I have PCOS and needed to be on Metformin. We lost the first two before having our miracle Sarah. Lost three more babies before I was treated for a blood clotting disorder. But I would've never known about the treatment without having seen a specialist.
Please feel free to pm me if you just need someone to talk with. I will be praying that you are able to have some clarity of direction and peace of mind in your decision.
(((hugs))))

Lisa
First off, it is good to "see" you. I think the move to an RE would be a great first step. Praying you find useful answers, hon.

Seeing a RE was teh best thing I ever did and I have my 2 l/c and 2 angel babies to prove that it is SO WORTH it!! i have PCOS too and my Dh is infertile, so through IUI with donor sperm, we were able to have our babies!! Of course, lots of prayers, heartache, and tears were there too, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat for my miracles!!
Praying that your "window" is FAR from being closed and there is a BFP in your future!!
Take care! Angela

I definitely would see any specialist who can help. Even though your only young, they may need time to sort things out, so I certainly wouldn't hesitate. New things are coming out all the time, and only the specialists keep up with the things in there area Another thought, don't worry they will go straight for ivf, when we visited re they did a whole stack tests to make sure there's nothing that needs fixing before going for the big guns
