"easy read " tittles/books? I don't have time or energy for anything too complicated.Example ,reading through 10 pages, just to find yourself thinking "what the heck did i just read..and how does it fit in the book ?" kwim?? i love Danielle Steels books. So easy and enjoyable, you can finish them in a day. So that is the type of books I'm looking for. Any suggestions???

If you read Twilight, you might like the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris - a very guilty pleasure of mine. Let's call it Twilight for grownups. I also adore the Number One Ladies Detective Agency series.

If you like Danielle Steele books, have you tried Nora Roberts? Or one I really like is Karen Robards. She's a great writer and her books are hard to put down!!!!

I have found that it's very enjoyable to me to listen to audio books. Many libraries have a nice selection of CD and cassettes and it is a nice break to listen when I have time to listen. Just a thought!

i was going to suggest Nora Roberts, but Tara beat me to the punch! I also like JD Robb books (Nora Roberts' pseudo name) the main character is a police detective who's husband is a reformed crook. its a nice, easy read, and I can usually get through those books in about an afternoon

I love JD ROBB! I also love James Patterson, only because his chapters are super short, and that's how I read a book....by the chapter, so I know were to pick back up. And end of chapters are usually good stopping points!

Jodi Picoult is an awesome author, in my opinion!
My Sister's Keeper....a very sad book(that they made into a movie a little while back), but a really good book! Another one by her that is good is Change of Heart.

I started reading Victoria Holt when I was much younger. I've always been fascinated by books that take place long, long ago. I think I've read almost all of her books. I don't think I've read too many Jodi Picoult. I should get on that!

I love Jodi Picoult!
Karen Robards go quite quickly. Love James Patterson. I like Barbara Delinsky quite a bit and think they go fast. When i'm in a mood like that i need quick moving books:) I like Mary Higgns Clark and Carol Higgins Clark.
Those are the ones i turn to besides (D.S.) when I need books like that:)

Another easy author to read is Nicholas Sparks! There has been several movies made from his books, but his books are way better then the movies in my opinion! I loved the Notebook, and its sequel Wedding, Nights in Rodanthe, Last Song, First Sight. Any of those are easy reading, feel good books!
I love Jodi Picoult books too! If you like Christian authors, Karen Kingsbury or Francine Rivers are both amazing authors!! My favorite by Francine is Redeeming Love.
Enjoy!!
