Hi all,
It has been a long time.
Jesse had his 6th birthday on November 11th. The hardest part was the cake...with all of his allergies.
He has grown up so fast and I am amazed at what he does every day.
Jesse loves, words, letters, numbers, computers, colors, shapes, mickey, minnie, any disney character, books, veggie tales, music and so much more.
He can now spell words on a page with the alphabet...and I went and bought him a label maker so he could spell and see the word scroll across the top (works like a charm).
We have him enrolled in a charter school and it is great. They supplied us with everything we needed...a computer, printer, ink, paper, touch screen,.....etc. Curriculum and everthing. He is doing great with the work.
Lately he loves Owls, triangles, the number 4... who knows why? No real language yet but he tries to say owww for owl and ma for mom and ann for his sister anneliese.
It is so hard but we are plowing through. We took him to "The Family Hope Center" where they are doing many therapies that include crawling, creeping, aromatherapy, sensory stuff and so much more. We have seen a HUGE improvement in everything from behaviour to affection. If you want to see recent pix I do have a facebook. PM me and I'll send you the link.
