How is everyone?
I can't believe Jesse is getting so tall and grown up looking. He will be 6 in November and that is bittersweet. At at time when I should be looking forward to him going to Kindergarden, I am struggling to find a place where he will thrive. NONE to be found so we are going it alone at home with the help of a virtual charter school...for now.
It is just so hard to balance life with 3 kids....let alone one who takes up so much extra time.
I just took Zach 11 for a weekend away...just me and him for 48 whole healing hours....fun and eye opening. He asked me on the way home "mom if Jesse is special needs - how will he get his drivers license?" I guess he had time to really think about things.
I plan on taking Annie for a 48 hour get away soon and that will be good for both of us.
BALANCE and BOUNDRIES so hard these days.
Love to hear what everyone is up to these days. I think of you all often!!!!

It is always good to hear from you, Monica. We are doing okay. Some days are terribly challenging and other days things are going well. Josh is doing pretty well. He's joined a group for children on the Autism spectrum and really has been enjoying it. The gap between him and other children his age is getting bigger and bigger as he is growing older. He's now 9 1/2 years old! (I know you know some of this, Monica but I haven't updated on SG for a while.) I still homeschool so that is nice for all of us (on most days). I was happy to see Clara, Myra and Monica the other week! That was really neat! Such lovely ladies with such huge hearts. I'm struggling with balance too...and lack of energy. Josh is prone to destruction and that is tough.
