an update on us

We went to PA...LOVE philadelphia....it was wonderful there...anyway The Dr. that we saw for his XXY was great! He is now involved in a study to see if a small dose of a certain androgen helps with the learning/attention/all around symptoms....He'll be involved in this for 2 years which means every 3 months or so we'll be in philly...she also wants to have him tested for noonan syndrome...the genetics doc here didnt want to do it but now i have 3 drs saying they want him tested so that cancels out the 1 doc that doesnt...he meets too many symptoms to NOT test him in all the other dr's opinions...we got denied SSI but am going to apply for deeming waver medicaid because we didnt get denied b/c of medical reasons but for finanical ones. anyway thats about it for now ....i hope you are all doing well

Bless his little heart! I hope you see good results with the hormones. I wonder why the one doctor doesn't want to test for Noonan's? I hope you are able to get all the information you need. This has got to be stressful for you. ((((many hugs))))) I hope the medicaid comes through for you, too. I don't know how we would manage without it...
