Hi Ladies- I am really struggling with some things and would love some advice/input. Some things I have read say that clomid can actually cause infertility if used my someone who is fertile. I have always been able to get pregnant, but I am taking clomid because the RE thinks maybe it can give me healthier eggs, but I haven't found much to support this theroy. I do know that nothing can prevent chromosone issues. So why take it? It has caused my cervical mucus to stop and now I am not getting preg. What would you do? ? Please? ? Much love and thank you in advance for you advice/input Rach

Rach, my son is a clomid baby and so is the one I am currently carrying. I had a hard time conceiving my son, but then was able to get pregnant on my own afterwards. I had my daughter, but then went on to miscarry twice this past year (in Dec and in May). My dr put me on the clomid b/c he thought I was o'ing too late in my cycle and that the clomid would give me a better quality o. I also had problems with cm, so he prescibed estriadol (I think it's a form of estrogen). But, I've also read that taking Robitussin (just the plain kind) can help keep the cm thinned out. If I recall correctly, you take 2 tsp a day, starting the day after your last clomid pill. Hope this helps. Good luck. Gina
