Dear SG Family, Mother's Day is probably one of the most difficult holidays to get through following the loss of a child. I've been paying special attention this year to all of the newspaper ads, restaurant ads, flower ads, and tv ads that are directly linked to Mother's Day, and there seems to be no way to avoid the topic of Mother's Day, making it especially hard on mothers and families grieving the loss of a child. However, there are things that you can do to help get through the day when your are grieving a loss. Please be sure to visit the SG Articles section of this website for some helpful ideas and support on how to get through this difficult day. www.silentgrief.com/articles/index.cgi?view_summaries=1&Category=For+Mothers Remember, too, that your grief is hard work, and whatever you choose to do should be something that is for YOU minus any guilt. Grieving is hard work, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve the loss of a child. My special love and prayers to each and every one. Sincerely, Clara
