Is it just me, or do y'all want to spit on folks sometimes?!?! EVERY TIME I go to the Doctor, doesn't matter what type of Doctor, people say...oOOOOHHHH, are you pregnant? You just want to scream NO! I'M NOT! Stop asking me already!

Well, I don't know that I've wanted to spit, but I've been tempted to GROWL!!!!! That's a question that I avoid asking -- always!!!! I've been asked too many times (especially following a late term loss), and it just plain hurts! I'm sorry it was a rough visit to the doctor. Love, Clara

kharville, I'm with you... I hate it when people ask me... Although, I think it's much worse to be invited to baby showers by people who know you had a miscarriage 3 months ago.

I was invited to a baby shower only a week after my miscarriage. It was for my cousin so I felt obligated to go. One of the worst experiences after my miscarriage though was walking into the OBGYN the day after it happened and seeing a room full of pregnant women and when it upset me all my "D"H could say was "What did you expect?"

I also find I hate it when I'm asked just b/c others are pg or b/c I have a headache/not feeling well. How can pp be so insensitive especially when they know you've experienced a loss...including at the drs office?
I also hate it that EVERY time I go to the drs office they have me give a urine sample and they check for pg right in front of me. Are they trying to rub it in my face that I'm not??
