Roll over that is.... Eli is 6 months gestional and 3 months adjusted age for prematuraty!
This makes me worry so much! That is why I think he is behind! He also don't hold his head up still that well!
Any one else have children that rolled over late! Any suggestions!
Thanks Carrie

Carrie
My daughter is 11 now and rolled only one time in her life at 9 months old. She was behind in motor skills, but now is pretty much caught up.
It is hard when they are behind and you know it yet NO one else wants to believe you.

My Toby didn't roll over much. He still had trouble holding his head up at 4 months. His ped was concerned and started some blood work to see if there was something up. I called our school district's early childhood intervention department for an eval. Toby qualified for physical therapy through the school district for free. If you're concerned, give the district a call. Although, you should also know that at three months (adjusted) he is still in the normal range for not rolling over. That said, if your Mommy Instinct says there is something wrong, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yes...my boy waited forever to do these things. He did not roll over until he was nine or ten months (6-7 months corrected) and did not sit up until he was a year old. Standing and walking came much later than that. But they did come. I completely understand the worry...and I won't poo-poo it for you. I'm just letting you know that my son waited a long time, too, but did eventually do it.
