Tomorrow we go in to have Allie's hearing tested. I am getting so nervous now. I don't know what I want. I want them to say she has a mild hearing loss because that will explain her language delays. I want them to say her hearing is fine because I don't want there to be anything different with her. I'm anxious that she won't cooperate and they won't get a reliable measure of where she is.
Sigh.
At least in 24 hours, we'll know.

I will be praying for Allie tomorrow and that the test gives some answers. They are pretty good at keeping the kids occupied and busy. Gabriel has had a few tests in his 6 months of life....honestly I am hoping that his hearing tests are done! The past 2 have been perfect reads....no reason to redo them...and they have both confirmed he's deaf. Then again, never know what a doctor might say needs to be done.
Sending hugs and prayers your way!

Rachel,
The "waiting" part is so hard. I'm praying that you will have peace of mind and that tomorrow will bring some concrete answers for you. I always think that once we know what we're dealing with, we can come up with a plan and go from there. It's the "not knowing" that is so difficult.
Many prayers and ((((hugs)))) are being sent your way.
Love, Clara

Praying all goes well. Is she having the basic in office test or the sedated ABR?
