Uggh. I was just beginning to relax a little and feel comfortable (well, as comfortable as possible under our circumstances). Then, Avery woke up with a cold. Avery has never "just" had a cold. It starts that way and then a couple of days later we're in a full-blown asthma attack which lasts about a week. She's pretty miserable and I brought her to work with me. I don't trust anyone when she is like this. I'm lucky to be able to bring her with me and she has her own playroom here. I would have liked to stay home, but I didn't work all last week and right now it is just a cold. Please pray that with this new treatment plan this will stay a cold and nothing more. I know if she wheezes we'll be right back in the hospital.

Hoping Avery's cold stays that way! my oldest had asthma from 6 months to 3 1/2 years old and i remember how scary it is when you hear that first little sniffle or cough- never knowing where it will lead! keeping my fingers crossed for her and her mama!

I do pray it is just a cold. My oldest also has asthma and I know what you mean, it seems to never be, just a cold.

I'm praying for little Avery as well. May this cold be something that passes very soon and may the Lord bless her with good health.

I'm sorry she got a cold! My oldest two have MILD MILD asthma, nothing to compare at all, but I hate that first little sniffle.
