Amelia has been in the process of learning English and being developmentally behind in her speech, as evaluated by ECSE to be in the 12 month range as of this past May. Yesterday, I hear her little voice demand, "I wa ma baby". I did a double-take and said, "what?!". She pointed up the stairs to her room, and demanded more strongly, "I WA MA BABY!" Her first sentence that made any sense to us! She was so happy when I brought her baby down for her. Next....

Avery "read" a book to me today. It is a book she loves and must have memorized. At least all those hours spent reading in the hospital were good for something!

Joshua was very sensitive when his little sister was hurt. He actually brought her a band-aid, put a pillow and blanket on the couch for her and gave her a hug. He has a sensitive heart but he can also be very rough at times... I feel like this is good considering how aggressive he can be (Today he didn't get his second dosage of Resperidal since we were not home)...

Great post!!! I think the awesome thing yesterday, which has NOTHING to do with Lilys issues, is that she and Lane BOTH took a nap!!!! Man, did I need that break! Whoo hoo! I am sure I wont get so lucky today.

Angelina is ALWAYS looking out for her sister. If i buy her something she MAKES sure i buy Kasandra something. If i punish Kasandra she yells at me to leave her Kasandra alone. She is VERY caring and so cute. She is FULLY potty trained and did it ALL on her own with Dora panties. She is so loving and when she spills something or drops something she ALWAYS says sorry mommy, lol.
Kasandra made a picture for Dan (her "daddy") that says she loves him and he is her NUM 1 dad!

Of course, I guess that really doenst make me proud, though!
The thing that made me feel so proud of Lily was that at her Dr appt Monday night, she was so good with the Dr. Usually she clams up at appts, but this time, she talked alot and was just the sweet little girl that she is!
Blessings~ Wendy

Allie was breastfeeding and saw her sippy cup and chose to drink water from it instead of nursing. (made me happy and sad!) For the most part up to then she hated her sippy because it was too hard and she'd throw it if we gave it to her.

Kali-Morie has now done 2 productions of the beauty and the beast play with NO on-stage meltdowns, NO temper tantrums and a beaming smile.
She has made all of her cues on time, been in her spot singing and performing her heart out and the director couldn't be happier.
This was a wonderful experience and we greatly appreciate it.
She is a peasant girl handing out flowers in the opening scence, a wolf, and a cheese grater in the be our guest scene.
School is horrid, but I couldn't be prouder of her.
Her last performance is tomorrow. She will start ballet/tap on tuesday and continue her gymnastics.
