I've still not ovulated, and have no signs whatsoever of anything happening anytime soon. I just talked to my mom on the phone. She's always got an optimistic view of things. She says, "Well if you are done, then think of the money you'll save every month! And then we can laugh together in the tampon isle!" My mom.... so funny!
I have to accept what ever this is. My main concern right now is the health of my bones. (lack of estrogen is really starting to freak me out! )
I do have a wonderful dd, and I'm so thankful for her (even when she's a pain in the rear! ) I was so sure for so long that it was God's will that I have another child. Afterall, I've been going through all this testing, m/c, etc for almost 4 years now. His will is never easy to see though.

Hey Mars, I was doing research on lupus and ran across this: The symptoms of Cushing's syndrome are due to the effect of excess cortisol on the body, which is best described as an accelerated aging of the body. Thus the most common symptoms are thinning of the skin, weakness, weight gain, bruising, hypertension, diabetes, weak bones (osteoporosis), facial puffiness, and in women cessation of periods. There are many other symptoms and each patients may have few or many. I thought about you! Have you been tested already? Go to www.medicinenet.com/cushings_syndrome/article.htm if you want more info.

Wow Kokomo! That's interesting! Thanks for thinking of me. I have been tested for lupus as far as I know. I still need to go fetch those lab results from my first ob/gyn office. Once I have those, I'll know where I can go with this thing.
I've not heard of anyone in my family with lupus, but my grandmother talked to me a few weeks back about the early menopause in the family. Her mom was done early, she was done and had a hysterectomy from complications at about 40, and my mom started having irregular periods in her mid 20's, and they got really messed up in her 30's. She had a hysterectomy from a huge tumor last year. So early menopause isn't too far fetched. There are fertility issues on my father's side of the family too, but no one seems to know exactly what it is. Just that my grandmother had cycle issues and so did my aunt.
I'll book mark that site and read it later. Thanks!

It doesn't sound as much like lupus as it does Cushings with your case. I do know that Cushings is an autoimmune disease that causes early onset menopause, osteoporosis, and miscarriage. I'm not sure what testing is done for Cushings but I don't think its the same as Lupus sed rate testing.
