ok . so besides waiting for 3.5 hours, it went well. dr. was in traffic so he was late. i told the nurse that i didn't need an u/s or p4 test cause i started spotting in the tub this morning and by that time , it was full force...sorry for tmi.( boy was i wrong) he saw me and said that he wanted me to do an u/s to make sure i don't have any cyst on my ovaries ( cause my period was late and a cyst can make it late) if there were, i would have to sit this cycle out. thank God it wasn't . so were not getting the IUI done. he is putting me on this other medicine called tamoxiphene (SP) it's a cousin to clomid and it also boost the hormones up and doesn't cause thick CM and a thin lining like clomid. i asked him about getting an IUI done and he said we didn't need it cause dh has good sperm count and the new pill won't make CM too thick so spermies can swim through. he said we have to give that 3 cycles before we can try anything. he also said now that we know the problem, i will only have to see him on the 1st ( to do a PCT test~ check dh's spermie and CM morning after BD'ing and) on the 10th to check progesterone levels. and i only will be going 1 or 2 times a month since we know the problem. so, with that said, i am a little at eased that things are starting to smooth out and becoming easier. let's pray that it doesn't take 3 cycles to get it right next time! thanks for reading

i never heard of that other medicine.i hope it helps. my cm is thick too.
it just sucks!!!

I have heard someone else say they used it and it worked they got BFP on month 2, on a PCOS board (if it is same, sp different) Please keep us up to date, when I ever get myself straight I'll be ready to try something. Dr. won't give me clomid, it inlarges my cyst.

jess, i think it is suppose to. it makes you produce eggs so it stimulates the ovaries. i get painful cervical when on clomid but anything is worth it if it works right???
sam , try asking RE about it. my RE said it thins out CM! it's the same pill they give to women who had breast cancer but doubles as a fertility pill

It will happen..you have gotten pg before and now God has brought you to a dr who specializes in helping women get pg and keeping them pg. I think your time is coming soon!

thank you angie. my hubby said the same thing too! i just have to keep my faith. as hard as that may seem...im just very impatient. when i don't get my BFP in the first month or so ttc, i feel as it will never happen to me. when it does happen, i can't believe it happened!! weird huh? lol
