Well, I went to my Dr. today to speak to the "Health Educator" who sent a note to me, which I received on Sat. and could not reach them, that said see her before ttc again! Of course I was sitting at the office this morning when they opened the door! After I lost the babies and was not pleased at the answers I was getting from my OB, he asked if he could run some test and I eagerly agreed. so now for 2 months I have been going once a week for blood work which he said he is comparing to each week. So they have the results! It wasn't what I was hoping for. The nurse health educator explained that they were referring me to a specialist and I would need further testing and treatment. We had suspected Lupus because of the clotting during my pregnancy, and a strong family history. I also have Hashmotto's which is a thyroid condition. The really bad news was my kidneys looked bad and are not filtering. So, his analisis was.... With treatment, I will live longer than without (of course) but if I get PG again I will stand a great chance of a miscarriage again. What do I do? I'm scared of rolling the dice. DH says its totally up to me! My mom says you have healthy children, be happy about that! She would have been happy if I never had any! Sorry this is so long I needed to get it out and now I need to go cry a while and have that pity party I've been saving those party hats for! LOL!

I'm sorry it wasn't the best news.  Is there a possibility of taking care of this problem and then going back to TTC? Do they have any idea about the treatment or even a solid diagnosis? Don't give up hope yet, you'd be amazed at the things they can do now. Nicole |

I am sorry about this news...........do me a favor worry about your self first not ttc get healthy and do what you have to first please i dont wont to have to worry about something happening to you and to have that baby you need to be right too................

I am gonna take this month off for sure! Once I see the Specialist I will decide then if its posible to ever have another health pregnancy. I will still be here to cheer for you girls!

What a tough decision this is. So I'm assuming the treatment for the kindeys means pg is not safe right now?

What a tough decision this is. So I'm assuming the treatment for the kindeys means pg is not safe right now?
(((((hugs))))) Really I'm not sure! All my Dr. said was don't get PG until I have the go ahead from "the team". That being a Rheumatologist, Immunologist, Urologist and Endocrinologist. I will see them May 10. Hopefully I can still TTC and be put on meds that will lower the risk of m/c. |

I'm so sorry to see this latest set back. It has been such a long road for you and now here is another bend.
