You risk the tubal not working and then if it does, you risk a higher chance of ectopic pregnancy because of the tube was compromised by the tubal. How old are you? If you are under 35, you probably have a good chance with IVF because you're young and all the girly parts were working well before your TL. Does that make sense? If you are under 37, there is one place that offers a multiple IVF financing (just had my IVF class today). I am dead tired else I'd dig through my pile o information to find it. It might be www.arcfertility.com. I am so sorry Jaleel's passing has driven you and DH apart.

First, I'm very sorry for your loss *HUG* Ok, now I have personal experience with both of your concerns I had a TL (tubal ligation) after the birth of my 2nd son, like you a scheduled C-section. I too thought I was done, but also in a bad marriage Fast forward....out of the bad marriage, and married again to the most wonderful man ever ;D who didn't have any children of his own....yet First we went to see an RE, we went with very specific questions about TR (tubal reversal) and IVF, which was our better option? She said that because of my age (42 at the time) that IVF was the better choice, I could have the baby w/dh and still have BC in tact....sounded great. In Feb of 05 I went thru my first and so far only IVF cycle, and $18,000 later, have no baby In April after doing much research, I went Dr. Berger in NC, who does TR, he is the absolute best! I traveled from WA and he has a map in his office with pins from all the world! Now, to date, I don't have a baby yet.....but I have been PG twice, but sadly I've MC'd but I don't think it really has anything to with anything but my age and the fact that like they say, if you are TTC you are so in tune with your body that you practically know the second your body is PG....most women don't realize they are PG till they are like 5-6wks along, we know the day of LOL...and alot of women MC and don't even know they were PG, they just think it was a late cycle So, anyhoo, I have done both of your options, feel free to contact me with any questions you might have take care, Elaine
