I had my first IUI in August. AF showed yesterday. I went to the Dr. today for an ultrasound for the next cyle and I have a cyst. I'm going to see him again on Friday to see if it is gone, if not it's BCP's for me this cycle...so frustrating!!!!!!
UPDATE:
Thank you so much ladies for your kind words!!! I went back to the Dr. today and the cyst is still there, it's even bigger. So I start birth control pills today to try and get it to go away. The Dr. said it could take up to 8 wks! I go back in 2 wks to check on the progress. I'm just so disappointed!! Hopefully I'll find these next two weeks as a little break.

I'm so sorry to hear this news.  It's so hard to take a deep breath, wait to see what the doctor says, and then try to move forward. Please know that I'm praying so much for you. I would never even hint that I know how you feel because I truly don't. I can only imagine the disappointment, and it makes my heart feel very heavy for you. Please accept this great big ((((hug)))) that is being sent your way. I hope that the cyst goes away and that you will be able to move forward with renwed hope for a POSITIVE! Sorry sweetie. That stinks. How frustrating to wait all this time to even get to IUI, have it fail, and then maybe another setback. No fair  Hope you heal quickly. Hope next time works for you. I am TAB between IUIs because I find them so draining emotionally. |

Don't give up. I did 3 IUIs before this last successful one that left me pregnant with triplets!
