Well....the dr I was hoping to go see isn't taking new patients. So I'm going to my GP. Haven't seen him for this stuff yet, so good thing I have all my info straight! I go in on the 21st for the insulin test. (Met should be mostly gone by then.) So for my birthday this year I get to starve myself, get poked a few times, and drink some nasty stuff! Lucky me! (And Erik will be out of town... )

That sucks, I'm sorry. Maybe your GP can refer you to someone else? I hate hate hate those nasty insulin tests. I threw up after 2 hours of the 3 hour test and made the test void. Fun fun. I'll be thinking of you.

Hey! Don't mention doing that!
When I had the GTT when I was pg, it was fine. Just tasted like soda that had been left out and went flat. Soda is NO GOOD without the bubbles! ;D

Maybe your GP could get you into the new RE. When a dr is not taking new patients, sometimes another dr can get an exception. Hugs,
Becca
