DH is FINALLY going to go and have his vericocele repair done! August 7th he is scheduled!!!! I have never been so excited! I'm really hoping this improves the condition of his sperm. If after a few months and a new sperm analysis there is good improvement we are going to try IUI. At that point it will be helpful! I feel something good for me this year! I'll let you girls know how things are going!
Love, Jo

That is good news. ;D I hope all goes well. It is wonderful to finally have a treatment plan. It is still a lot of "hurry up and wait" I know, hang in there. Remember it takes three months for sperm to regenerate; in our case six. Don't get discouraged. When we were first married, and BC, we felt like we were just waiting for our "real life" to begin. Now I look back and wish I would have realized that the early part of our married life was "real life" and an important part of our life together. It is a time to dream, and a time to build memories together, and (bear with me here) to build your "love savings", those memories and feelings you can fall back on when "real life" takes your time and energy away from taking care of each other. What I am trying to say is that even though you may feel over the next few months that you are stuck in limbo, this is not "wasted time" in your family. This is your time to play together and strengthen your marriage so later on, when your focus is on your increasing responsibilities instead or your relationship, you will have something to hold onto. Sorry, this is ending up sounding more like a downer post. I mean it to be encouraging though and know that we will be right here with you for the long haul.

Good luck to your hubby in August! Hope everything goes well and that you get a good SPERMIE report!! BTW.......my husband didn't have any problem with his veriocele but he did have slow and sluggish sperm-in laymen terms! And we tried for YEARS to get pregnant. With both pregnancies! First one we lost at 24wks! I am currently 24wks again!! And this baby is an IUI baby. We took clomid and then in January we tried IUI-we were lucky I guess but it worked the first time!!! So I hope that is the case for you as well!! Good luck again!!
