Hello everyone!
I was on here about 1 1/2 yrs ago, after I M/C my daughter at 16 wks due to PROM! I started seeing an RE in October 04 and have finally exhausted all my options except IVF! We are scheduled to in March 06 for our 1st IVF cycle. Is anyone going thru this? I would love to have someone to "go thru this" with! Also, has anyone heard of using acupuncture along with IVF? I think I heard something about it increasing your chances of success by 30-40%! Any info would be appreciated! Thanks , Jamie

Hi Jamie and Welcome Back!
Glad to hear of your first IVF...haven't done it so I can't provide much advice.
I just wanted to let you know that this board is usually quite quiet and you may want to post on the Trying to Conceive Boards as the women are more active over there. Many women over there are using clomid and other medical assistance in TTC.

Hi Jamie!!Well I just might be you ivf buddy!!Seeing when my cycle starts in feb we will begin in the first of march.I had a m/c oct 04 and nothing since.I have high fsh or pof and I'm only 30!!uuhh!So toots you got a partner!!Keep me posted!!!

Wishing you both all the best as you start your IVF cycle in March... I will say tons of prayers that ONE cycle is all it takes for both of you!
It's been a little over two years since I did PGD (with IVF) for my DD#2... I may not remember some of the details, but I am happy to share what I can remember about the experience... Ask, and I shall answer to the best of my recollection... Others here who have been through IVF will as well!

Lisa P., Yeah, partner! I will be having my egg retrieval and re-implantation on the week of March 27th, so you'll be able to fill me in! Awesome! I pray we both get PG first IVF cycle!!!!!!

Ladies, I will also be checking in on the TTC site. I hope you and I, Lisa P. are soon on the pregnant after M/C site!

Hi, I may be your cycle buddy. I started my first cycle of IVF in Nov./Dec. got a BFP Dec.29th but m/c'ed at five weeks  My RE says I can start a FET as soon as my second AF rolls around...so that will be march. I usually don't post here often because the boards are quiet but feel free to email me anytime. Good luck! |

We did IVF in Jan 2004 after 3 m/c and 2 ecp's. We now have a 16 month old daughter. We still have 5 blastocyst's frozen and hope to do fet this time next year! Wishing you all the best!
