Hi, just wondering if anyone out there who has ever taken clomid has ever exsperienced late ovulation, like day 40 late? I'm frustrated trying to find out whats going on with my body and I really wish I knew if it was possible to O that late.

When I was taking Clomid, I often ovulated twice...once when I was supposed to and once later.
Is it possible you began testing for ovulation too early or too late in your cycle? I know sometimes you can also ovulate in the afternoon and not have it register on an OPK if you tested your morning's urine.
If you're sure you're not ovulating even with Clomid, you should let your doctor know. There are blood tests they can order to see what's going on. *hugs*

My daughter is a clomid baby. I take it days 3-7 instead of 5-9 and I usually o around cd 13. When I took it 5-9 I o'd anywhere from day 17-19. What cd's did you take it?

I took it cd days 3-7. the doctor told me I should o anywere from 4-8 days after takeing the last pill. and AF should come three weeks from the day of the last pill. so now I'm just really frustrated, on to cd 37 tommorow.

Why are you on clomid, if you don't mind me asking? Some women take it to ensure a healthier egg. I had to take it with the Metformin because of PCOS. I'd definitely talk with your doctor (esp. if you're getting a bfn).

I have been taking it for three months now! Currently completing my third round at 50mg on cds 5-9! I have ovulated on CD 17-19 these last two months and now this month I am not even getting a positive opk!! What is the deal and I am already past cd 19!!! I am so frustrated! I would love to have some answers! Is it possible to not ovulate at all on Clomid?

Dear April, when I took 100 mg clomid (two pill each day) between my 5. and 10. cycle day, I did not ovulated..When my doctor took my usg, he saw only one 10 mm egg but you it isnt enough.but after he made my dosage 200 mg per day, I ovulated and got pregnant but unfortunately I losted.Please make sure yoruself that you are ovulating with the enaugh dose..big hugs to you...please send me message anytime you want.and also we can chat by msn..
