I ask because I had an FET two weeks ago and have just got my BFP. But the clinic says that I have to keep taking my medication up to 12 weeks. That seems a long time to me - I hate taking these meds. Also in this cycle they did not 'switch off' my hormones just enhanced with the drugs. I have to take 3 x climaval, 4 x utrogestan and 2 x cyclogest pessaries every day. All at certain times - it's been driving me crazy. I guess I'll have to do as they say - but wondered if any of you have been through this? Bernie x

Bernie...
When I went through the PGD with DD#2, I had to do the thrice daily injections with the gonal-f and the microdose lupron. I was also doing twice daily vaginal inserts of progesterone. Obviously, once they did retrieval, I no longer had to do the injections (they were for the egg production)... but I did continue the twice daily progesterone until about 11-12 weeks. I'm not familiar with the meds you are on, but I'd just continue... recognizing that your hormones will be completely out of whack... but that it is for a great cause... Those one or two little frosties that have implanted!!!

I have just left you another post but here's my reply for what it's worth!
I had to 'take' (you know what I mean) the progesterone until 13 weeks, but no other meds from what i remember. Having said that as mine was 'full' IVF maybe that's why it's different?
So happy for you !
