Not sure what to think of this or if it's nothing, but here goes. Warning...tmi
Had a bowel movement tonight and there was quite a bit of blood both in the toilet and on the TP. As far as I know, shouldn't be hemmoroids, I don't have any other symptoms, no pain, no constipation, no diahrea...been totally normal - so what can be causing this and should I call my dr. tomorrow or am I just being paranoid?
Had an NST tonight and everything was fine....bp was a little high but I also had a migraine all day. I have a tiny bit of stomach pain but again, nothing out of the ordinary.

If it was me I would see a dr.
It could be nothing but it's better to be safe then sorry.
Best wishes.. keeping you in my thoughts and prayers,
Darlene

I agree with Darlene. I would tell the dr. just in case.

I would call the doctor right away just to be sure. Best of luck.

Okay here is a tmi for you, which "hole" did it come out of? I had retual bleeding near the end with Andrew because I had developed a fissure or tear in my anus from brearing down to go.
But along with everyone else, I would call my dr to be safe.

Yeah, it's always better to call your Dr. But I have a lot of bleeding like that with no hemorroids or any other reason for it. Maybe like the pp a tear. They say that dark blood or black is what to worry about. I just like to always think better safe than sorry.

I had the same thing happen to me about 6 weeks ago. I had a bowel movement and I looked in the toilet and it was bright red blood. Also on the TP. I guess I have internal hemrroids that caused the bleeding. I hope everything is alright with you.

I too have had that problem and I don't have hemorroids, my OB just said it's a tear. I am a nurse and I worked on a GI floor for a while and I can tell you that if it is a GI bleed (from inside) the stool may be quite dark, and the smell WILL be one of the worst you've ever smelled. I bet it's just a tear, but better check with your OB. BTW, I don't think anything on this site is TMI! I'm so glad we can be open with each other!!!

I remember having this with Hannah. If your DH is willing, see if he can find an open sore near your rectum. If so, it's an anal fissure. If DH isn't willing, trying seeing if you can find it with a mirror or your finger (I know, gross, but this is what my OB had me do). Anyway, a fissure is a small tear on the outside of your rectum (behind it). But I would call the OB as well.
